The 2012 Toyota Corolla's design strikes a sporty profile and an interior design that enhances its distinctive style.

Key exterior changes for 2012 are color-keyed power outer mirrors on the L grade and 16-inch steel wheels on LE grade. On the inside, steering wheel audio controls are added to the LE and there are double stitch accents on the seats for S grade.

Also new for 2012, the Corolla LE and SE grade receive standard AM/FM CD player with MP3/WMA playback capability, six speakers, XM Radio, auxiliary audio jack, USB port with iPod connectivity, auto sound leveling, hands-free phone capability and music streaming via Bluetooth wireless technology, plus steering wheel audio controls.

All models are equipped with the 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine, producing 132 horsepower and 128 lb.-ft. of torque, and paired with a five-speed manual transmission or a four-speed automatic.

The 2012 Corolla offers Toyota's Star Safety System, including Vehicle Stability Control, Traction Control, Anti-lock Braking System, Electronic Brake-force Distribution and Brake Assist. All Corolla models are equipped with six standard airbags, seatbelt pretensioners and front active headrests.
