The new 2008 Cadillac CTS luxury sports sedan is said to combine advanced technologies and electronics with old-world craftsmanship that honors Cadillac's past. Highlights include; integrated iPod/MP3 capability, a harddrive audio system, EasyKey and Smart Remote Start, Bose 5.1 Cabin Surround audio, and heated washer fluid.
The large, chrome, dual-textured grille is significantly more vertical in shape than the one previously employed. Coupled with a new overall shape, the 2-inch wider track gives the new Cadillac model a more planted, capable and well-grounded appearance that is exemplified by much tighter tire-to-fender relationships.
The CTS interior design is decidedly more upscale than before, with added ornamentation, luxury, and attention to detail. Analog instrumentation is tightly framed and defined by bright accents. An integrated center stack with either a satin metallic finish or genuine Sapele wood blends into the lower instrument panel. The hand-assembled center console leads seamlessly into the center stack, providing a sportier cockpit feel for the driver and passenger.
The 304-horsepower, 3.6-liter, direct-injection V-6 is the top-level engine option for the 2008 CTS. Designed to operate with regular unleaded gasoline, the new engine produces V-8-like power, but with much better fuel economy. All-wheel drive is available as well.
